
Have you ever heard of a Child Life specialist or the field of Child Life? Would you be interested in learning more about the Child Life profession? Are you currently a student wondering if your degree program will allow you to become a Child Life specialist? If you answered yes to any of these questions, Child Life 101 is for you!
Child Life 201 will be a more intensive workshop to help students who are on a serious path of becoming a Child Life Specialist. It will be a half day course that consists of four workshops including information on practicum, internship, resume/cover letter, and interview tips and tricks. Please bring your Child Life cover letter and resume with you.

an interview. Please note that submitting a completed application does
not guarantee an interview or practicum placement. Candidates will be
required to meet in person if located within a three-hour drive, or be
available via Skype or Zoom.

The child life internship takes place in the spring( January-May), fall (August-December) and summer (May-August) semesters.

We also offer a Child Life Fellowship. The fellowship is an opportunity
for further learning and growing as a child life specialist once a child
life internship has been completed. It is a one-year paid position that
usually starts in the fall. The position is posted in late spring and
the application can be located at
careers.ouhealth.com.
