HHDC Lecture Series | Visiting experts from across the globe are invited to present talks on the OU Health Sciences Center campus.
HHDC Symposium | This day of lectures features distinguished members of the Selection Jury for the Harold Hamm International Prize. Held biennially (odd-numbered years) in the spring. Watch the 2021 Symposium.
Harold Hamm Diabetes Care SUMMIT | This event provides continuing education for physicians, nurses, pharmacists, clinicians and diabetes educators. Held annually in the fall; registration fee required.
HHDC Research Symposium | A day of scientific talks and posters presented by members of the center and a visiting keynote speaker. Held annually in October.
Hamm Lecture in Diabetes Research | Established as part of the Hamm Prize, the Hamm Lecture is given by the Prize laureate. Held biennially (odd-numbered years) in October.
HHDC Metabolic Research Conference | A series of lectures in the style of Grand Rounds; presenters include invited guests from outside OU. Held twice monthly during the academic year at the Bird Library Auditorium, OUHSC.
Henry Turner Lecture | Established to honor Henry Turner, an OUHSC researcher. Turner became known internationally for correctly identifying what is now known as Turner Syndrome, a chromosomal condition that affects development in females and, among other complications, increases the likelihood of developing diabetes. Turner served as chief of endocrinology and as associate dean of the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.
Kelly West Lecture | Named in honor of OUHSC researcher Kelly West, recognized internationally as the "father of diabetes epidemiology."
