Title IX Policy and Process

Title IX of the Education Amendments Act of 1972 states that "no person in the United States shall on the basis of sex be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance." OU Health prohibits all forms of sex-based discrimination, including sexual harassment, sexual violence and assault, and is committed to preventing sex discrimination that impacts any person's opportunity to participate in or benefit from an education program or activity. All OU Health employees are expected to report incidents of sexual harassment or sexual assault of which they become aware.
