How do I apply to an OU Health career opportunity?

  • Are you an external candidate? Search all job openings. You can narrow down the open jobs by keywords or filter by location, time type, company, etc. Select your job of interest and click “apply”! Create an online profile for your job applications.
  • Are you an internal employee? Login to your Workday account. Click “Careers” application located on the Workday home page under “Your Top Apps.” If not there, click ”View All Apps” to find “Careers." Under “Actions” click “Find Jobs.”

    Please note:

    External candidates include anyone not employed by OU Health, including current contractors and OUHSC employees.

    Internal candidates include anyone employed by OU Health currently.

After I submit my application, what is the process and how do I know where I am throughout the process?

  • Application Under Initial Consideration: Your application is under review and is awaiting Recruiter review.
  • In Consideration: Your application has been reviewed by the Recruiter and has been moved to the next stage in the process. If we are interested in pursuing your application for this role, you will be contacted via phone or email by either the Recruiter or Hiring Leader.
  • Please note: You can view the stage you are in by logging into your Workday account that you used when applying and going to “My Applications” located on your Workday Candidate Home page.

How long after submitting an application will it take to hear back?

This depends on multiple factors including volume of applications for the position you may have applied for. There is no set time, but if we are interested in moving forward with your application you will be contacted by phone or email.
