    Jonathan W. Curtright, MBA, MHA

    President & CEO

    Mr. Curtright joined OU Health as Chief Operating Officer in 2022 and became President and CEO on July 1, 2026. Mr. Curtright brings more than 30 years of healthcare leadership experience, including 15 years in executive and C-suite roles. Prior to OU Health, he served as Chief Executive Officer of MU Health Care and held leadership positions at Indiana University Health, UK HealthCare and Mayo Clinic.   • Jimmy Duncan
    Jimmy Duncan, SHRM-SCP, SPHR

    Chief Human Resources Officer

    Mr. Duncan joined OU Health in January 2023, coming from UC Health in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he had served as Senior Vice President/Chief Human Resources Officer since 2020. He has worked extensively in human resources leadership in healthcare including Arkansas Children’s Hospital, Tenet Healthcare Corporation, Banner Health, and Wellstar Health System. Mr. Duncan received a master’s degree in organizational management at Southern Wesleyan University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina. Read more about Mr. Duncan.

    Jennifer Schultz Kouandjio, MBA

    Chief Strategy & Growth Officer

    Ms. Schultz Kouandjio joined OU Health in 2018 as its first executive leading marketing and communications. Ms. Schultz has spent over 17 years in healthcare marketing, business development, and communications roles. Prior to joining OU Health, Ms. Schultz Kouandjio served as the Vice President of Marketing for Avera Health.   • Stefanie Beavers, DNP, RN, NEA-BC
    Stefanie Beavers, DNP, RN, NEA-BC

    Chief Nurse Executive

    Dr. Beavers is the inaugural chief nurse executive for OU Health, the University of Oklahoma’s academic health system and the state’s only fully integrated, comprehensive academic health system. She was named to the role in March 2023. Dr. Beavers leads nursing operations across OU Health’s three hospitals and ambulatory services. She established the OU Health Nursing Professional Practice Model, launched the inaugural OU Health Nurse Leader Development Program and led the August 2025 launch of a hybrid nursing model with Nexus Bedside that integrates virtual and bedside nursing teams to strengthen workforce sustainability and care quality. She also collaborates with the University of Oklahoma Fran and Earl Ziegler College of Nursing at OU Health Sciences to develop future nurses and nurse leaders. A nursing executive with nearly 20 years of experience, Dr. Beavers came to OU Health from Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford, where she served as associate chief nursing officer. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a Master of Science in nursing administration from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.   • Carolyn Kloek, M.D.
    Carolyn Kloek, M.D., MBA

    Chief Medical Officer

    Dr. Kloek joined OU Health in January 2019. She served as program director of the Harvard Ophthalmology Residency Training Program from 2013-2018. She held numerous administrative leadership positions including Clinical Director of Mass. Eye and Ear- Longwood. Dr. Kloek is also a comprehensive ophthalmologist at the Dean McGee/University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. Dr. Kloek received her bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College, followed by her medical degree from Harvard Medical School.   • Jim Watson
    Jim Watson, MBA

    Chief Financial Officer

    Mr. Watson spent 13 years as Chief Financial Officer at OU Medical System (predecessor in interest to OU Medicine, Inc.) from 1998 until 2011. He was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at The University of Chicago Medical Center (“UCMC”) from 2011-2016. Mr. Watson received a master’s degree in business administration from Southern Methodist University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa.

  • Maria Russo
    Maria Russo, MBA

    Chief Digital Information Officer

    Ms. Russo is a dedicated information technology leader with over 35 years of experience in healthcare IT operations and consulting. Prior to joining OU Health in October 2020, Maria was the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and Executive Director at Kaiser Permanente's Northern California Region, where she aligned IT strategies with business goals. She previously worked as a healthcare IT consultant at Arthur Andersen, First Consulting Group, Ernst & Young (EY), and Deloitte Consulting, implementing large-scale electronic health record systems, developing strategic plans and managing IT departments for several large health systems. Maria holds a master’s degree in business administration and is a recognized leader, named one of the "100 Hospital and Health System CIOs to Know” by Becker's Hospital Review.     Executive Dean, OU College of Medicine & Chief Physician Executive, OU Health

    Dr. Ian Dunn serves as executive dean of the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and chief physician executive at OU Health, where he leads the integration of academic excellence with clinical innovation across Oklahoma’s flagship academic health system. A nationally recognized neurosurgeon and educator, Dr. Dunn previously chaired the Department of Neurosurgery at OU, overseeing transformative growth in clinical services, research, and education. Before joining OU, Dr. Dunn held leadership roles at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, earning international recognition for his expertise in skull base and pituitary tumors. He played a pivotal role in the formation of OU Health, serving as its inaugural chief physician executive and first president of the physician group. As executive dean, Dr. Dunn champions the tripartite mission of education, research, and patient care, advancing medical training and discovery while improving health outcomes for Oklahomans.
