Follow Us on Facebook Follow Us on InstagramThe Oklahoma Dementia Care Network (OkDCN) is a collaborative statewide program to improve the care and health outcomes of older adults living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias and their family and friend caregivers. Our mission is to enhance the care and support for the growing number of Oklahomans affected by all types of dementia.
See below for the many ways OkDCN can help support professional and family caregivers.
Mark your calendars to join us for a Training-For-Trainers presented by the University of Oklahoma’s Oklahoma Dementia Care Network (OkDCN). Ideal attendees are health program coordinators and educators from Career Technology Centers, Nursing Homes, Hospitals, and Tribal Nations. Elevate your training activities with dementia-specific content and take-home materials designed for health career preparation courses (ie. Career Tech's CNA, CMA, CMA CEU, LPN programs) and facility in-service efforts. Easily integrate this content into your programs with our Facilitator’s Guide and props.

The population of older Oklahomans is projected to increase 21.3% by 2034. For the first time ever, adults 65 and over are expected to outnumber children in Oklahoma.
That's where Aging Our Way comes in. Oklahoma Human Services created a state-wide initiative to ensure every Oklahoman Can age on their own terms. Whether you're 25 or 85, this plan is for you.

GUIDE provides training and resources to caregivers to help them manage the challenges of caregiving to ensure that people with dementia receive comprehensive care.
Check out FREE OkDCN classes for family caregivers and health professionals.
The OkDCN ECHO projects are a collaborative model of virtual education programming for professional and family caregivers, especially in rural and tribal communities, to provide speciality geriatric care to more people, right where they live.
As a health professional caring for people who live with dementia, you can provide the best possible care by keeping your knowledge and skills up to date. Take advantage of the many types of educational opportunities and resources offered by OkDCN.
