As part of your disease-specific care team from the moment you’re referred to Stephenson Cancer Center, nurse navigators champion your wishes and focus on your needs. They offer an added layer of support through every step of your journey.
Although many clinical staff will provide you with medical care, your nurse navigator, a registered nurse (RN), acts as your personal advocate and works closely with you and all members of your care team to find solutions and answers to your questions. Your nurse navigator can:
