About Ky Dorsey

Dr. Dorsey is an assistant professor and the George Kaiser Family Foundation Chair in Psychiatry. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Tulsa in 2009. He then served four years in the United States Navy, completing a Transitional Year internship and finishing his service as a Naval Flight Surgeon stationed with US Marines in South Carolina. After his time in the Navy, he joined the Johns Hopkins Hospital’s Phipps Residency for General Psychiatry. Upon completion of training, Dr. Dorsey moved to Utah and served as a community psychiatrist for six years before moving to Oklahoma to rejoin the OU Health Physicians family as a faculty psychiatrist.
