About Farah Masood

Farah Masood, DDS, MS, is a dentist with OU Health Dentistry, and she also serves as a professor and division head of oral radiology in the department of Diagnostic and Preventive Sciences at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in Oklahoma City. She has specialty training and expertise in oral and maxillofacial radiology, which a field of dentistry dedicated to the dental and maxillofacial imaging.

Dr. Masood earned her doctor of dental surgery degree at the OU College of Dentistry. She completed a master of science degree in oral biology and specialty certificate in Graduate Diagnostic Sciences at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry in Kansas City, MO. She completed a general practice residency at Truman Medical Center in Lee Summit, MO and at Punjab Dental Hospital in Lahore, Pakistan.

Dr. Masood believes in spending time with her patients to address individual needs. Promoting continual maintenance of dentition is integral part of her practice. Focus of her practice is Geriatric Dentistry.

In addition to her clinical role, Dr. Masood is a dedicated educator at the OU College of Dentistry and received the 2020 Regents Award for Superior Teaching at the OU Health Sciences Center as well as Outstanding Faculty Awards from recent dental hygiene classes.

Dr. Masood is a member of American Dental Education Association, American Dental Association, American Academy of Oral and maxillofacial Radiology and Oklahoma Dental Association.

She serves the Oklahoma City community through volunteering at different clinics.
