To bring the critical vision of the Oklahoma’s Children’s Hospital OU Health Behavioral Health Center to life, the working budget is approximately $140 million. Oklahoma Children’s Hospital has already partnered with public and private entities to begin making progress on bringing this project to life. Alongside the Oklahoma State Legislature, the University Hospital Authority and Trust (UHAT), and the American Rescue Plan (ARPA) - our community is answering the call to provide a beacon for these critical services.

To fully realize this vision - there is a significant opportunity for your private philanthropy to join us in serving Oklahoma children like never before. Opportunities also include naming and donor recognition.

The Role for Philanthropy

The Oklahoma’s Children’s Hospital OU Health Behavioral Health Center is locking arms with philanthropists to create a place where all children facing a significant mental health challenge can find specialized care with a working goal ranging from $26 to $36 million.

Transformational generosity will allow us to add space for additional programs and research needs, as well as build a foundation for sustaining programmatic and operational needs for years to come.

• private rooms for patients
• spaces for families to plan their child’s transition home
• dedicated, safe spaces for group therapy
• Spaces for speech therapy, art and music therapy, occupational therapy and recreational therapy

We expect the Oklahoma’s Children’s Hospital OU Health Behavioral Health Center to be fully operational in the Winter of 2026.
