About Sarah Sung
Sarah Sung, MD is an assistant professor in the department of neurology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. She specializes in the treatment of Brain Tumors and is a member of the Comprehensive Brain Tumor Program.
Her research interests include treatment of glioblastoma and other primary central nervous system tumors, such as low-grade or anaplastic astrocytoma, low-grade or anaplastic oligodendroglioma, ependymoma, and meningioma. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the Society for Neuro Oncology.
She attended medical school at the OU College of Medicine. She completed her residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and then completed a fellowship in neuro-oncology at UCLA in California.
Dr. Sung is board certified in neurology, and she is board-certified in neuro-oncology by UCNS (United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties). Stephenson Cancer Center has the only two UCNS board-certified neuro-oncologists in the state.- Medical School
