OU Health Physicians

When you choose OU Health for your care, you have access to the state's largest and most comprehensive physician practice in the state. Practice locations range from the Oklahoma Health Center in downtown Oklahoma City to clinics in the Oklahoma City area, Edmond and Midwest City and Tulsa.   • Starbucks – Located at OU Health University of Oklahoma Medical Center in the main lobby of the North Tower, you can get your favorite Starbucks drinks and food Monday-Friday 6:30 a.m. – 7 p.m. Starting Saturday, April 29, the Starbucks will also be open Saturdays and Sundays from 7 a.m. – 1 p.m.
  • Oklahoma Children’s Hospital Cafeteria – Located in Oklahoma Children’s Hospital; large dining room or to-go service; serves hot entrées, deli, grill, salad bar, innovation station where skilled chefs prepare specialty items by request, express items such as pizza by the slice, Starbucks coffee, iced tea; sandwiches on-the-go by Subway

  • Health Nut Cafe – Inside the University Health Club/ OU Health Harold Hamm Diabetes Center with breakfast, wraps, salads, sandwiches, smoothies and more. HOURS: Mon-Fri 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Gift Shops

Glass Door Gift Shop - University of Oklahoma Medical Center

Located on the first floor of the hospital. In addition to gifts, sodas, comfort items and more, families can order flowers and gifts for patients and have them delivered.
Current Hours of Operation: Monday and Wednesday – 9 a.m.- 8 p.m.; Tuesday, Thursday, Friday – 9 a.m.- 5 p.m.; Closed Saturday and Sunday. Call (405) 271-4439.

Red Shelf Gift Shop - Oklahoma Children's Hospital

Located in the Children's Atrium, the gift shop has children's gifts, comfort items, candy, sodas, cards and more. Gifts can be ordered over the phone and delivered to patient rooms, along with flowers and balloons.

OU Health Edmond Medical Center Patients & Families

While at OU Health Edmond Medical Center, you benefit from the comfort, compassion and convenience you’ll find here – just when you need it most. You and your loved ones will enjoy private rooms and generous visiting hours that support your healing.

Visiting Hours

Visit your loved ones throughout the day in most patient care units. The Visitor’s Entrance closes at 9 p.m. daily. Visitors remaining after 9 p.m. must enter and exit through the main hospital admissions entrance on Bryant Avenue.

Autumn Life Center Visiting Hours
3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday – Friday
2 p.m. to 4 p.m. weekends and holidays
For safety, children ages 14 and under are not allowed on the Autumn Life Center unit.

Amenities at OU Health Edmond Medical Center

During your stay or visit, you and your guests can take advantage of amenities such as:

  • ATM – In Main Hospital ER/Admitting Lobby, off Bryant Street; serviced by Citizens Bank of Edmond
  • At Your Request Room Service – On-demand room service from our excellent hospital cafeteria; choose your meal from customized menus for delivery to your room at any time; also available at a nominal fee for visitors to patient rooms
  • Cafeteria – Open Monday – Friday 7 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. and 5-6:30 p.m. and Saturday – Sunday 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. There is also a 24/7 micro marketing on the first floor.
  • Business Center – In Visitor’s Entrance Lobby – south hospital entrance off 2nd Street; access to internet, fax, printer
  • Gift Shop – Inside main hospital entrance; Monday – Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; wide variety of supplies from personal essentials and snacks to gifts for people of all ages; managed by hospital volunteers; all proceeds benefit scholarship funds to support local nursing students and other worthwhile causes
