SoonerSelect is the name of Oklahoma’s Managed Medicaid program for individuals and families with limited income and resources that qualify for the program.

OU Health wants to help you have the information you need to make decisions about your SoonerSelect plan and deciding where and how to receive care.

SoonerSelect Plans

OU Health accepts the three health plans SoonerSelect offers, which are:

• Oklahoma Complete Health
• Humana Healthy Horizons of Oklahoma
• Aetna Better Health of Oklahoma

Choosing a Primary Care Provider

Once you have selected a health plan, choose a primary care provider (PCP). A PCP can be a doctor or an advanced practice provider like a nurse practitioner (N.P.) or a physician assistant (P.A.) and specializes in:

• Family medicine
• Internal medicine
• Pediatrics

Primary Care at OU Health

You benefit from patient centered primary care. OU Health physicians work with you to decide on your individual medical needs.

Pharmacy Services

Most of our primary care locations have a pharmacy close by.. Some locations even have pharmacists working as a part of the care team to help you with your medicines.

Therapy & Counseling

Our primary care clinics have counselors or therapists in the clinic, making it easier to take care of your complete wellness and health.

MyChart

You can securely communicate with your care team via the MyChart app. You are also able to make prescription refill requests, see lab and test results, review your visit summary and much more.

Access to Specialists

Your OU Health primary care provider can connect you with specialists or subspecialists when your health needs a specialized focus. You benefit from our comprehensive and experienced team that works with you to provide an individualized treatment plan.
