About Susanna Ulahannan
Susanna Ulahannan, MD, MMed, is an associate professor in the Section of Hematology/Oncology. She specializes in the treatment of gastrointestinal cancers and the conduct of Phase I clinical trials. She serves as Director of the Oklahoma TSET Phase I Program and as Chair of the institutional Protocol Review and Monitoring Committee. She is also the Chair of the Early Phase Disease Site Committee at the Stephenson Cancer Center.
At the national level, Dr. Ulahannan serves as Chair of the NRG Oncology Immunotherapy Subcommittee and as the institutional Principal Investigator for NRG in medical oncology. She is designated as an NCI Early-Stage Clinical Investigator. She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), where she serves on the Gastrointestinal Guideline Advisory Board and the TAPUR/ASCO Data and Safety Monitoring Board.
Dr. Ulahannan completed her hematology-oncology fellowship at the National Cancer Institute/National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, and her internal medicine residency at Johns Hopkins University–Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. She earned her medical degree and a Master of Medicine from Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg, Sweden.
She is board certified in hematology, medical oncology, and internal medicine.
