About Roberto Bernardo

Roberto Bernardo, M.D. is an OU Health pulmonary and critical care physician who specializes in advanced lung disease, including interstitial lung disease, pulmonary fibrosis, pulmonary hypertension, sarcoidosis and other pulmonary vascular disorders. Dr. Bernardo serves as the Director of the Adult Pulmonary Hypertension Program.

Dr. Bernardo earned his medical degree at Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru. He went on to complete his residency in internal medicine at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ and a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the OU College of Medicine in Oklahoma City, OK. He completed additional subspecialized training in pulmonary hypertension and pulmonary vascular disease at Stanford University School of Medicine in Palo Alto, CA.
