About Robert Lim
Dr. Lim is an Associate Professor of Surgery, as well as the Resident Program Director and the Vice-Chair of Education for the Department of Surgery. He obtained his medical degree from the New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. Dr. Lim completed his residency at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center. After completing his residency, Dr. Lim went on to complete a fellowship program in minimally invasive surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School. He is a former military surgeon with 6 deployments to the combat zones of Iraq and Afghanistan earning both Bronze Star and Legion of Merit awards. Dr. Lim is board certified in General Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
