Dr. Neal Kaushal MD, MBA is a distinguished physician and healthcare leader with extensive experience in gastroenterology, endoscopy, and hospital administration. He currently serves as Executive Director of General Gastroenterology and Endoscopy at OU Health and Assistant Professor at the University of Oklahoma’s Department of Medicine, providing expert gastroenterology and hepatology services in Oklahoma City and Edmond.

Dr. Kaushal’s academic journey includes a Doctor of Medicine degree and a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Irvine, where he graduated with honors. He also holds a Bachelor of Science with honors in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he was inducted into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society.

With clinical training from top institutions including the University of California, Los Angeles, and the University of California, Irvine Medical Center, Dr. Kaushal is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Gastroenterology.

Dr. Kaushal’s leadership roles in hospital settings include serving as Chief of Division in the Department of Gastroenterology and Medical Director of Ambulatory Care Services at Adventist Health Sonora. He has also chaired the Department of Medicine and served as Chief of Staff Elect, showcasing his commitment to excellence in medical leadership.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Kaushal is actively involved in industry and technology initiatives. He has served as Chief Medical News Correspondent for KCRA TV News Station, sharing his expertise on medical matters including Covid-19. Additionally, Dr. Kaushal has contributed to medical technology companies as Chief Medical Officer of CoreMobile, Inc., a Medical Technology Consultant for AnX Robotics, and as a member of the Speakers Bureau for AbbVie Pharmaceuticals. He also continues to advise students and trainees at his alma mater, UCLA, in both clinical training programs and the Andersen School of Management.
