About Miki Thompson

Miki Thompson, MSN, APRN-CNS is an advanced practice provider with OU Health Physicians in Oklahoma. Currently, she works as a provider in the Neurosurgery Clinic where she specializes in working with patients with movement disorders/neurostimulation. She has experience in improving surgical site infections in the inpatient setting and improving continuity of care from the outpatient to the inpatient setting.

Miki earned her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK and completed a Masters of Science in Nursing from the OU College of Nursing in Oklahoma City, OK. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the OU College of Nursing.

Miki is a member of the National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists, Oklahoma Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists, Association of Operating Room Nurses and American Association of Neuroscience Nurses.
