About Katherine Smith
Katherine A. Smith, M.D., FACOG is a fellowship-trained minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon specializing in the management of complex benign gynecologic conditions. She offers both minimally invasive hysterectomy and uterine-preserving myomectomy for the management of fibroid disease. She performs medical and surgical management of endometriosis; including excisional surgery with and without hysterectomy. Her clinic offers many adjunct therapies for patients suffering from chronic pelvic pain including pelvic floor physical therapy. In addition to this, Dr. Smith also manages patients requiring laparoscopic or hysteroscopic surgery for abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic masses, or adhesions from prior surgery.
