About Charles Pasque
Charles B. Pasque, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with OU Health Physicians, specializing in sports medicine and arthroscopy. His expertise includes arthroscopy and reconstruction of the knee, shoulder, hip, ankle and elbow. Dr. Pasque earned his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City, OK. He completed a general surgery internship at Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis, MO before completing a residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. He continued his specialized education and training with a fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery at the Cincinnati Sports Medicine Center in Cincinnati, OH.
Dr. Pasque served on active duty in the United States Navy in Portsmouth, VA before returning to the OU College of Medicine as full-time faculty. He is a Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. In his academic role, Dr. Pasque has been an advocate for training the next generation of orthopedic surgeons and has held the J. Andy Sullivan Chair in Orthopedic Surgery Resident Education as the Program Director of the Orthopedic Surgery and Rehabilitation Department since 2006.
Dr. Pasque serves as a Team Physician for the University of Oklahoma Athletic Department where he helps provide medical coverage for multiple teams including Men’s and Women’s Track and Field, Men’s and Women’s Cross Country, Men’s and Women’s Tennis and Golf, Men’s Wrestling, Women’s Volleyball, Women’s Softball, Women’s Rowing, and OU Spirit Team support.
Dr. Pasque is a retired Captain in the United States Navy Medical Corps with over 30 years of service including 3 overseas deployments and 1 continental US deployment to the Mercy Hospital Ship during the COVID pandemic.
