About Ashley Bledsoe Cook

Ashley Bledsoe Cook, DDS is a dentist with OU Health Dentistry and a clinical assistant professor with the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in Oklahoma City.

Born and raised in Altus, Oklahoma, Dr. Cook attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Health Science. Dr. Cook had the opportunity to work as a dental assistant for a couple years before attending the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. During her experience as a dental assistant, Dr. Cook felt fortunate to have been given this time to have hands-on learning and direct observation.

From her senior year in high school throughout her senior year in her undergraduate studies, Dr. Cook was involved in the Miss America Organization holding three different local pageant titles during this time. Throughout her participation in these pageants, Ashley advocated for a community platform which she called "Save Your Smile". The platform allowed her to speak with audiences of all ages at various schools, community clubs and organizations across the state about the necessity of continual dental maintenance as a part of every individual's holistic health.

Dr. Cook is a firm believer in patient education, and she works with each of her patient's individual treatment needs and proper hygiene techniques.

In addition to her clinical role, Dr. Cook is committed to her role as an educator where she hopes to share her knowledge and enthusiasm with dental students and also expand their appreciation for dentistry as an art, science and profession.
