OU Health Announces Chief Operations Officer of the Cancer Division

OU Health has named Tracy Cothran Chief Operations Officer of the Cancer Division. In this role, she will oversee the inpatient and outpatient operations to ensure Oklahomans receive the highest quality care through research-driven, patient-centered cancer care. Cothran will also lead the administrative and multidisciplinary care teams responsible for executing OU Health’s strategic and business objectives to ensure OU Health is delivering cancer care efficiently and effectively across the care continuum.


Previously, Cothran was Vice President of Oncology Services. She has more than 25 years of experience in healthcare, joining OU Health University of Oklahoma Medical Center six years ago, where she has held a wide range of executive roles. Under her leadership, OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center opened a new proton center, launched the state’s first CAR-T program, and increased community-based cancer screening among underserved populations throughout the state. She holds a master’s degree in Business Administration and has extensive background in clinical service and training acquired at the OU College of Allied Health.
