You and your loved ones can benefit from our commitment to family-centered care when you take advantage of the Family Resource Center at Oklahoma Children’s Hospital OU Health, open:

Monday - Friday: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Relax and Recharge During Your Child's Stay

During your time at the Family Resource Center, you’ll appreciate the warm and welcoming atmosphere that supports parents, guardians and caregivers while a child stays in the hospital. This space serves as a place for families to relax, recharge and make their stay at the hospital a little bit easier. From relaxation in front of a TV to business center needs, the Family Resource Center is dedicated to supporting families with many non-clinical needs during a child's stay at the hospital.

Located on the first floor of Oklahoma Children’s Hospital near the Presti Clubhouse and cafeteria, this private space offers you and your family a pleasant place to relax and recharge

Complimentary Guest Services

When you visit the Family Resource Center, you can take advantage of complimentary guest services such as:

  • Help finding your way around the hospital
  • Communication about all events within the hospital that support patients and families
  • Comfort items, including toiletries
  • Respite area
  • Private conference area
  • Assistance with local accommodations
  • Parking & Notary service
  • Snacks and beverages
  • Public phone

Family Support Services

You and your family also will value many other types of support from the Family Resource Center, including:

  • Help with basic needs, as part of our partnership with clinical social work
  • Assistance with food, clothing, or personal care items
  • Access to resources for community-based services and support, including assistance with completing applications
  • Car seat safety classes
  • Help setting up an online account with OU Health and accessing MyChart
