About Zhamak Khorgami
Dr. Khorgami is an Associate Professor at the Department of Surgery. He obtained his medical degree from Tehran University and completed a General Surgery residency at the University of Oklahoma–Tulsa. He has completed fellowships in Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery at the University of Miami and the Cleveland Clinic and is an Optum Center of Excellence (COE) bariatric surgeon. Dr. Khorgami is extensively published in general surgery and weight loss surgery. He serves as the Program Director for General Surgery Residency at OU Tulsa. Dr. Khorgami serves on national committees of metabolic bariatric surgery (ASMBS) and minimally invasive surgery (SAGES) Societies.
