About Timothy Puckett
Timothy A. Puckett, DC, MD is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with OU Health Physicians, specializing in spine. Dr. Puckett currently serves as the executive chief of staff for the OU Health University of Oklahoma Medical Center.
He specializes in all areas of spinal surgery, from the cervical spine to the lumbar spine, with special interest in deformity work and trauma.
Dr. Puckett began his medical career by earning a doctor of chiropractic degree from Logan Chiropractic College in Chesterfield, MO. He earned his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City, OK. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the OU College of Medicine and a fellowship in orthopedic spine surgery at Southern Illinois University in Springfield, IL.
In addition to his contributions to OU Health, Dr. Puckett has served in yearly medical mission trips to India for many years.
