Dr. Swaroopa PonnamReddy is a board certified hematologist oncologist at OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center in Oklahoma City. 

After earning her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Kurnool Medical College in Kurnool, India, she went on to complete a residency in internal medicine at Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth, NJ. Dr. PonnamReddy also completed fellowships in transfusion medicine and hematology/oncology at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.

In addition to direct patient care, Dr. PonnamReddy is interested in advancing medicine as a clinical investigator for various clinical trials. She is also passionate about teaching and was awarded three times for her excellence in teaching residents, fellows and medical students.

    Dr. Pommanreddy gave a very clear explanation of of the options for treatment of my condition that made me feel informed about the choices available to me. She was very patient if I asked for something to be clarified. She didn't make me feel rushed. It was a reassuring meeting.
