About Margaret Lee

Margaret L. Lee, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist and assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at OU Health. She provides psychiatric care as an attending physician and has experience treating a broad range of mental health conditions across clinical and academic settings. Dr. Lee’s clinical interests include mood disorders, insomnia, geriatric psychiatry, ADHD in adults, and the thoughtful use of psychiatric medications, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based, patient-centered care.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Lee is actively involved in medical education and physician training. She serves as clerkship director and externship director and regularly teaches medical students and resident physicians. Dr. Lee earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and completed her psychiatry residency at the University of Oklahoma. She has received multiple teaching and education awards in recognition of her commitment to excellence in medical education.
