It was a very satisfying experience, because he took his time to explain the whole process well

Dr. Bates is amazing! She took the time to sit with me, listen to concerns, and address my current health. I could tell she had reviewed my chart prior to my appointment and made sure to address current issues/changes needing to be made. She made me feel like she had nowhere else to be. She is kind, approachable, and very knowledgeable. I would 100% recommend Dr. Bates.

I wish there was more time blocked for a new patient appointment. I did not feel rushed by Dr Bates at all and felt she listened to my concerns. But knowing I only had 30 minutes to meet a new provider, discuss my history, concerns and have an exam gave me a lot of anxiety and I felt I rushed the appointment trying to be respectful of her time. Also my appointment didnt start on time so I was aware that she/clinic was running behind and I didn't want to cause further delays. In no way did any staff make me feel rushed with their words or actions. I felt listened to. But I wish the initial appointment time was blocked longer. I also wished I wasn't asked to change before meeting and speaking with Dr Bates. Of course I was wearing a gown but It would have been nice to have a conversation and discuss concerns without being In a gown for a well woman exam. I would have felt more comfortable clothed and then changing for the exam portion. Not a complaint but a possible suggestion. Or something I will request for my next appointment.
