I am a VERY agreeable person, and I am usually ready to listen to the doctor's advice. She asked me if I wanted a steroid injection to reduce swelling. She said, "I was ready to give you a shot to reduce the swelling but I am not sure I want to. What do you think?" which was very good, but I wish she had just done it. The swelling is still, months later, getting more noticeable every day.
