About Lieschen Quiroz
Dr. Quiroz is a urogynecologist at OU Health in Oklahoma Cit. She is a professor and section chief for the section of urogynecology at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.
She attended Brown University and received her doctorate of medicine from the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, and a fellowship in Urogynecology & Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery at Johns Hopkins.
Internationally recognized for her expertise in 3D ultrasound of the pelvic floor, Dr. Quiroz is considered one of the nation’s leading scholars in this area. She frequently lectures and conducts workshops at major national and international conferences. Her scholarly contributions include more than 75 peer-reviewed manuscripts, review articles, and book chapters.
Dr. Quiroz holds positions of national prominence in the field of Urogynecology. She serves on the ABOG Board of Directors for the Urogynecology subspecialty and is a board examiner. Sher has previously served on the Executive Board of American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as the American Urogynecologic Society. She is an expert in robotic, laparoscopic and vaginal surgery, and has a strong commitment the medical education of students, residents and fellows. She is currently the Division Director and Fellowship Director of Urogynecology at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.
With more than 100 peer-reviewed publications, presentations, and book chapters, Dr. Quiroz continues to advance the field of Urogynecology through research, education, and clinical excellence.
