About Jeremy Reitinger
Jeremy Reitinger, MD, is an ophthalmologist at OU Health Dean McGee Eye Institute specializing in comprehensive ophthalmology and inpatient ophthalmic care. As a Clinical Assistant Professor, he provides comprehensive eye care for adults and oversees the ophthalmology inpatient consult service, helping manage a wide range of acute and complex eye conditions.
Originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado, Dr. Reitinger earned his undergraduate degree in integrative physiology from the University of Colorado Boulder before receiving his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Indiana University School of Medicine, where he served as chief resident and completed a two-year Leadership in Medicine certificate program.
Dr. Reitinger is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care and enjoys caring for patients with a broad range of ophthalmic conditions. His leadership experience and dedication to education help support both patient care and the training of future physicians.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Reitinger enjoys spending time outdoors and pursuing activities such as running, fishing, and skiing. He values exercise, outdoor adventure, and maintaining an active lifestyle with his family.
