About Jennifer Cooper

Jennifer Cooper, APRN, CNP graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree. She continued on to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing Degree from Maryville University in St. Louis to practice as a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Jennifer Cooper has been at Oklahoma Children’s Hospital for seven years during which time she has been privileged to learn and participate in the medical management and care of our pediatric patients.

The pediatric urology clinic focuses on collaboration and teamwork to care for a multitude of genitourinary concerns. Her goal as a nurse practitioner is to develop trusting relationships with our families and individualized plans of care. Education is the cornerstone of her practice, and she has a strong belief in education empowering patients and their families to optimize their health and wellness.

As Director of the REACH Program, she works to transition pediatric patients with neurogenic bladders into adulthood, educating about their conditions and why lifelong care and follow-up is necessary is imperative to the quality of their future. She is honored to help guide her patients through a variety of urological conditions, to provide education and care through evidence-based practice, and to help every child reach their full potential.
