About Jacqueline Flores
Jacqueline Flores is an Associate Faculty and Advanced Practice Provider for OU Vascular Surgery. Jackie completed her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing at the University of Oklahoma and earned her Master’s Degree with a dual role in Family Medicine and Acute Care from the University of South Alabama. She has worked as an emergency care adult and pediatric registered nurse and, most recently, as an APP in cardiology prior to joining the OU faculty. She brings a wealth of experience in cardiovascular care to our team and to our patients.
In addition to her clinical work, Jacqueline has a strong background in emergency nursing. She served as a Registered Nurse III in the Pediatric Emergency Department at St. Francis Health System and in the Emergency Department at St. John Medical Center. Her roles have included triage, rapid evaluation, and assessment, as well as serving as a lead nurse in trauma and resuscitation. Jacqueline is certified in Emergency Nursing (CEN), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). She is an active member of the Emergency Nurses Association and has received the Nurse Excellence Award from St. Francis Health System. Outside of her professional life, Jacqueline enjoys spending time with her family and participating in community activities.
