About Elizabeth Langthorn

Liz Langthorn, MD, is a Family Medicine Physician with OU Health in Oklahoma City who provides comprehensive care to patients across all age groups. She is skilled in preventive care, patient treatment planning, and culturally aware practice. 

Dr. Langthorn earned her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City, OK. She completed her residency training in Family Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, also in Oklahoma City. Additionally, she holds a Master of Public Health in International Maternal Child Health from Tulane University School of Public Health in New Orleans, LA, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, OK.

Beyond her clinical roles, Dr. Langthorn has served as Project Director for the Oklahoma State Department, Prevention Service, where she facilitated workgroups and authored federal grant reports. She was also an Assistant Community Planner for Smart Start Oklahoma, supporting community coalitions and developing Medicaid enrollment toolkits. Dr. Langthorn continues her education in Breastfeeding Medicine and maintains a strong focus on women’s and LGBTQ healthcare.
