About Christy Beasley

Christy A. Beasley, MPAS, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant with extensive experience caring for patients in oncology, as well as previous experience in family medicine and emergency medicine. She provides inpatient and outpatient oncology care, including patient education and support throughout treatment. Her clinical background includes the care of patients with a wide range of cancers, including those undergoing high-dose therapy and stem cell transplantation. 

Beasley earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska, where her master's thesis focused on emerging theories and treatments for polycystic ovary syndrome. She received her physician assistant training at Des Moines University College of Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa, graduating with distinction, and earned a bachelor's degree in biology with honors from the University of Tulsa in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is licensed by the Oklahoma Medical Board and has maintained certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants since 2000. 

In addition to her clinical practice, Beasley has contributed to physician assistant education by precepting students and helping train advanced practice providers. She has been recognized as the Oklahoma Society of Clinical Oncology's Oncology Physician Assistant of the Year and has participated in professional lectures and medical publications. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, participating in church activities, cooking, hiking, running and traveling. She is also the founder of a pottery studio that offers wheel-throwing instruction to individuals in the community.
