About Cherie Herren
Cherie Herren, MD is a child neurologist with Oklahoma Children's Hospital OU Health in Oklahoma City. With a fellowship-training in pediatric epileptology, Dr. Herren works as a part of a multidisciplinary team that treats children with epilepsy. In addition to her role as the section chief of neurophysiology, she is the director of the epilepsy monitoring units and the pediatric ketogenic diet program.
Dr. Herren earned her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City, she completed a residency in pediatrics at the OU College of Medicine and a residency in pediatric neurology from the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, Texas. She completed fellowships in pediatric epilepsy and pediatric neurophysiology from UT Southwestern as well.
