About Anna Harrison

Anna Harrison, MS, RD/LD, is a licensed and registered dietitian specializing in bariatric and metabolic nutrition. She currently provides individualized nutrition education and counseling to support patients in managing obesity, diabetes, and related conditions. Her clinical practice includes assessing dietary patterns, monitoring supplement use, and developing modified diets to address vitamin and mineral deficiencies. She collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and creates tailored educational materials to support patient success.

She earned her Master of Science in Nutrition and Food Science with honors from the University of Central Oklahoma, where she also completed her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition, Dietetics, and Food Science. Her academic foundation includes an Associate of Science in Enterprise Development from Oklahoma State University–Oklahoma City. Her dietetic internship included rotations in clinical, community, and management settings, with experience at Integris Southwest Medical Center, Oklahoma City Indian Clinic, and other public health organizations.

Harrison is a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and holds certifications as a Licensed Dietitian and Registered Dietitian. She was recognized with the Dr. Valarie B. Knotts Outstanding Dietetic Intern Award for her professionalism and dedication to the field. Her previous roles include leading diabetes education programs and contributing to community health initiatives, reflecting her commitment to patient-centered care and public health advocacy.
