Advance care planning is more than a living will. It starts with a conversation about what matters most to you. Our health can change in an instance, and there are many things to consider if you are unable to make decisions for yourself.

Advance care planning is the process of learning healthcare decisions that might be needed in the future, aligning those decisions with what matters most to you, and then letting others know about your preferences (both family and your healthcare providers).

By completing your own Advance Care Plan this year, you could also empower your family members and your patients to think what matters most to them; creating your OU Health legacy.

OU Health and OU Health Sciences Center employees and students are invited to attend this event and learn more about how they can help start the conversation about advance care planning.
