1 out of 3 American adults has prediabetes. If you have prediabetes, you can make changes now to improve your health and prevent type 2 diabetes. Reduce your risk by more than half with a one-year lifestyle change program for adults.
PreventT2 is part of the National Diabetes Program led by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. As part of a PreventT2 group, you will work with other participants and a trained lifestyle coach to learn the skills you need to make lasting changes. These changes include losing weight as needed, being more physically active and managing stress.
The course is a yearlong lifestyle change class that will be held at OU Health Harold Hamm Diabetes Center starting on July 27, 2022, at noon.
To qualify:
- A1c 5.7-6.4 (Elevated Blood Glucose)
- BMI Over 25
- Take a Risk Test
