Research has shown that interacting with others who have diabetes can help individuals stick to their diabetes care plan and improves how they manage their condition. Harold Hamm Diabetes Center offers free diabetes support groups open to anyone impacted by the disease.
Led by Certified Diabetes Educators and registered dietitians, our support groups offer practical, professional guidance as well as a discussion opportunity. Your family and friends are encouraged to attend with you. You must be 18 or older to participate. Sorry, child care is not provided at the adult sessions.
Join us on six Fridays in 2020 in the Third Floor Group Classroom (Suite 3030) of the Harold Hamm Diabetes Center building at NE 10th and N. Lincoln (location details). The meetings begin at 1:00 p.m. and last one hour. Discussion topics will vary. Light refreshments are served.
