Mark your calendars, and join us for a Train the Trainer Workshop, presented by Oklahoma Dementia Care Network. You’ll elevate your Health Programs and Career Programs with dementia-specific content for short-term or full-time health courses (ie. CNA, CMA, CMA CEU & LPN). Program coordinators and educators are ideal attendees for this workshop.

Every participant will receive certification at the conclusion of the training in four modules that address the “4Ms” in the context of dementia care: What Matters, Medication, Mentation, and Mobility. The “4Ms” provide a framework for helping system leaders and frontline teams deliver highquality, age-friendly care. You will leave the training with curricula and materials to integrate this content into your programs.

At This Training

Andrea Golden-Pogue, RN, MSN, Dr. Thomas Teasdale and the OkDCN team will present the four Dementia Education Courses we are providing for free.

These courses will help you with dementia empathy and care strategy when assisting older adults living with dementia.

• You will want to send coordinators/educators to this event!
• Meet Key Partners in the area of Dementia Education/Training and Resources!
• Every educator/coordinator will receive a certification and each Tech Center will receive a training kit (instead of props)allowing the content to be integrated into your programs.
