About Zachary Smith
Dr. Smith is a neurosurgeon with fellowship training in complex spinal operations and minimally invasive spine techniques. He obtained his medical degree from UCLA and neurosurgery training from UCLA Neurosurgery. He completed a fellowship with Dr. Richard Fessler at Northwestern University in Chicago, where he was an attending physician for eight years. He has a strong interest in cervical spinal surgery and conducts NIH supported research on outcomes for cervical spinal compressive disease. He additionally offers minimally invasive spinal operations to patients at OU. This includes the use of spinal robotics, a new, cutting-edge technique that has been adopted by the University of Oklahoma Medical Center.
