About Victoria Bugg
Victoria Bugg, MD, is an ophthalmologist at OU Health Dean McGee Eye Institute, specializing in comprehensive ophthalmology and cataract care, including advanced and premium cataract surgery. She is committed to delivering personalized, high-quality eye care to help patients achieve their best possible vision.
Dr. Bugg earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with special distinction from the University of Oklahoma, where she was recognized as the Freda Guild Outstanding Female in Chemical Engineering and named to the Letzeiser Honor List, honoring the university’s top graduating seniors. She then earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
Dr. Bugg completed her ophthalmology residency at the Dean McGee Eye Institute at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. During her training, she was nominated by medical students for the Aesculapian Resident Teaching Award, reflecting her commitment to education and mentorship.
A native of Norman, Oklahoma, Dr. Bugg is proud to care for patients in her home state. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Blake, and their two sons, as well as reading and traveling.
