About Trent Wallace

A native Oklahoman, Dr. Wallace was an undergraduate from Oklahoma State University, where he studied physiology. Upon receiving his bachelor’s degree, he went on to the California School of Podiatric Medicine (CSPM) before completing a three-year podiatric medicine and surgery residency at the Greater Texas Education Foundation Harris County.

Dr. Wallace chose this field after sustaining an ankle injury while playing football and receiving great podiatry care. Additionally, this inspired his first publication, Taping and Orthosis Treatment of Sports Related Knee Injuries, which was written during his time in medical school. He went on to publish Viscosupplementation as a Treatment for Ankle Osteoarthritis: A Review of Literature, only two years later.

Dr. Wallace is a current diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Oklahoma Podiatric Medical Association. He was a member of the Podiatric Medical School Honor Roll and was the recipient of the CSPM Dean’s Scholarship. Further, he was a member of Pi Delta National Podiatric Honor Society and has served on the Oklahoma Podiatric Medical Association Board for over 12 years. He is currently serving as president.

Dr. Wallace takes the most pride in ensuring his patients receive the best care and are happy with his work. He joined OU Health to further help Oklahomans with greater community outreach and encourages anyone who may have footrelated issues to make an appointment.
