About Thomas Lehman

Thomas P. Lehman, MD, PT is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand and microvascular surgery. Dr. Lehman currently serves as the medical director of hand trauma services for the OU Health University of Oklahoma Medical Center as well as the medical director of the OU Health Physicians Adult Orthopedic Surgery Clinic.

Dr. Lehman earned his bachelor's degree in physical therapy from the University of Oklahoma College of Allied Health in Oklahoma City. He practiced as a licensed physical therapist, working through medical school and earned his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.

He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the OU College of Medicine. He continued his specialized education and training with a fellowship in hand and microsurgery at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center in Albuquerque, NM.

Additionally, Dr. Lehman is actively involved in the Doctors Demistify conference series and acts as the Oklahoma host of the annual Doctors Demistify Forearm and Hand Anatomy Seminar.
