About Thai Do

Thai Do, MD, is an ophthalmologist at OU Health Dean McGee Eye Institute, specializing in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery as well as cosmetic treatments of the eyes and face. He also serves as a clinical assistant professor at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. Dr. Do earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. He completed his internship at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis and his ophthalmology residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, where he received multiple honors, including “Best Research Presentation by a Resident” and “Outstanding Resident of the Year.” He went on to complete a two-year fellowship in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery in Detroit, Michigan, in affiliation with Kresge Eye Institute and William Beaumont Hospital.

His clinical interests include eyelid and facial reconstructive surgery, correction of eyelid malposition, facial rejuvenation procedures and reconstruction related to tumors and trauma. He has authored multiple publications in ophthalmology and oculoplastic surgery.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Do enjoys traveling with his wife, Kassie, and their dogs, Amber and Aries. He also enjoys attending Broadway shows and musicals.
