About Parasuram Melarcode Krishnamoorthy
Parasuram Melarcode Krishnamoorthy, MD, FACC, FSCAI, is the Director of the Structural Heart Program at OU Health. Dr. Krishnamoorthy is also the Director of the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship and an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences in Oklahoma City.
Dr. Krishnamoorthy earned his medical degree from the Government Erode Medical College, Dr. MGR Medical University in Tamil Nadu, India. He completed his internal medicine residency at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New Jersey, and his cardiology fellowship at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. He pursued further subspecialty training in interventional cardiology and structural heart disease at Mount Sinai in New York, and completed his post-doctoral research training at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Krishnamoorthy is passionate about mentoring fellows, advancing cardiovascular care, and participating in national and international cardiology conferences.
