I'm normally very happy with Dr Pandey and how he conducts himself and his attitude towards me and any concerns I bring up. However this time I was not. I brought up that my PCP is looking into autoimmune disorders to explain symptoms I'm having and Dr. Pandey laughed and said it's impossible which just made me upset and shut down. I did my research, while it's not common you can still have or develop an autoimmune disorder AFTER an Auto stem cell transplant. The odds of me getting APL were 1 in 250,000 yet I still got it. The odds of relapse are between 5% and 15% yet it happened to me. I have a history of having unlikely illnesses or things wrong with me that don't match up with my age bracket. It does happen. Unlikely doesn't mean impossible. So I did not appreciate him laughing and making me feel like a fool for trying to find answers.

I love Dr. Pandey, and trust him with my medical care. He has been on my leukemia journey with me, and praise God now I'm in remission.
