About Karlee Tate
Karlee Tate is a licensed clinical social worker who serves on OU Health’s Integrated Care team as a behavioral health consultant at Grand Prairie Pediatrics Clinic. She provides therapy services for children and families referred by the medical team, with practice strengths in assessment, diagnostics, treatment planning, and crisis intervention. Her experience includes facilitating an adolescent therapy group using the Making Sense of Your Worth modality and collaborating closely with physicians to coordinate care across diverse treatment needs.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology with a sociology minor from the University of Oklahoma and completed a Master of Social Work. Her training included integrated care practicums at OU Health clinics and community-based service in Southwest Oklahoma City through Empower OKC and Oklahoma City Public Schools partnerships.
As a licensed clinical social worker, she has pursued specialized training through the Halo Project’s Collaborative Impact Scholarship, including Internal Family Systems, Trust-Based Relational Intervention, and Making Sense of Your Worth facilitation, along with additional coursework in Cognitive Processing Therapy and Focused Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Her community work has included organizing events and advancing partnerships that support families from varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. She emphasizes cultural humility, client advocacy, and empathetic communication in her practice as an LCSW.
