About Karl Hansen

Karl Hansen, M.D., Ph.D., is a physician specializing in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at OU Health in Oklahoma City, OK. He earned his Doctor of Medicine and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City. Dr. Hansen completed a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. He is board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Hansen also holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, and has completed the Clinical Research/Reproductive Scientist Training Program (CREST) sponsored by the American Society of Reproductive Medicine.

His medical interests include in vitro fertilization, unexplained infertility, and polycystic ovarian syndrome. Dr. Hansen's research focuses on ovarian aging, male factor infertility, and IVF and pregnancy outcomes. He has special clinical interests in reproductive surgery, reproductive aging, ovarian reserve testing, and unexplained infertility. Dr. Hansen is dedicated to advancing the field of reproductive medicine and providing compassionate care to his patients.
